Halloween’s Monday Mixtape – ACODA

ACODA, one of Britain’s most exciting up and coming metal bands, have had one hell of a year so far. Before heading out on a UK tour with Floods, the band were given the opportunity to play the UK’s leading festivals such as T in the Park, Download and Sonisphere as part of the Red Bull Bedroom Jam. The band’s front man Damon Tang is a fan of Halloween, and he took some time out to help us out with today’s Halloween Monday Mixtape feature!

Michael Jackson – Thriller

An obvious choice! We love to get our awful dancing out to this number.

A.F.I. – Total Immortal

I love the All Hallows EP, ‘Total Immortal’ is my favourite track ’cause I used to cover it in my first band. It was when A.F.I. were moving over from the straight up punk stuff to that darker sound they eventually became famous for.

The Black Dahlia Murder – What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse

The lyrical content in most TBDM songs are ideal for the Halloween theme. We were out dressed as Droogs from The Clockwork Orange recently and this song came on in the club we were at. Minutes later their was bleeding noses and mass brawls going on. That song is pure evil!

The Rotted – 28 Days Later

This is an awesome metal cover of the 28 Days Later soundtrack.

Raging Speedhorn – Dead Man Walking

We used to spend our Halloween in our local venue, Sawyers, until it closed down last year. They used to go all out at Halloween and this song always cropped up. It’s a tune!

The track by Raging Speedhorn is not in the music player, so you can listen to it below!
