Young Guns September 2011 Tour Interviews

On the 9th September, Young Guns kicked off a seven date UK tour with support coming from Australia’s Dangerous!, Scotland’s The Xcerts and Every Avenue, the American band on the bill. If you were lucky enough to catch any of the shows, you will know that this line up was a varied as you will get.

Dangerous!

Australia’s Dangerous! were playing their first show in Aberdeen and decided they would party in style. Check out what the band had to say for themselves but be warned, there’s no real questions involved and if you are a member of Japanese Voyeurs, you may be a tad offended!

Every Avenue are no stranger to playing shows in the UK. Following the release of their new album Bad Habits, we talked to front man David Strauchman about the new album, and also had a chat about touring in general.

The Xcerts

Murray from The Xcerts was a tough man to get a hold of before the show kicked off, which is understandable given the fact this is his home town show. We did eventually manage to drag him away from family and friends to have a quick chat before Dangerous! took to the stage. He’s a lovely gentleman, so check out what he has to say (along with his imaginary band mates).

The headline band of the evening have been at the other side of the globe this Summer in Thailand recording a new album, and that experience is something we talked about with the guys.
